Book aimed at the project sponsorAuthor and project management guru, Rory Burke, recently visited South Africa to promote his new book, Advanced Project Management. The book is aimed at the project sponsor specifically, in order to explain how they can use a project methodology systems approach to develop and implement corporate strategy.
As part of the series of talks that he undertook locally, Burke presented a guest lecture with CoLAB Project Implementation, covering the approach discussed in his new book. Called the Fusion Method XYZ, this approach uses a special arrangement of the widely accepted project management techniques to subdivide the project lifecycle into a number of sequential phases, and then uses the project management process to manage each phase.
